Halloween Day

Today we had a GREAT day!.

This morning student's arrived to school in their Halloween costumes.    During the day they participated in many Halloween activities.   In the morning students enjoyed listening to Halloween stories and making witches stew.   The stew consisted of bats (raisins), monster fangs (candy corns), frog eyes (Skittles),baby ghosts (mini marshmallows), pumpkin heads( candy corn pumpkins), and scarecrow straw (pretzel sticks).    Students had a fun time comparing, graphing, sorting and adding their Halloween stew ingredients.

At the end of the day our class walked around the school showing off our amazing costumes.    After the parade we had a class party where students made vampire suckers, ghost suckers, witches hats and masks.    Later, students ate PLENTY of yummy treats!

Thank you to all the parents who helped make today such a terrific experience for the students.   It was a fantastic day that I am sure they will never forget.  I know I won't!
